KERRY SUTORIUS
The majority of my time in the backcountry has been spent right next to Steve. Literally. We met working at the Wilderness
Treatment Center in Montana and spent hundreds of days together leading treks in the Bob Marshall Wilderness area, Yellowstone
and up around the Continental Divide. Not only did we get married alongside the Two Medicine River, one of our most favorite
trek spots, but we did a 21 day trek with nine teenage guys right after our wedding – some honeymoon!
When Steve and I were given the chance to be the sole owners of the PT Wildernest store, it gave me the opportunity to
finally leave the drug and alcohol field after twelve draining and equally rewarding years.
What more can I say? Steve and I have been working together side by side since the day we met – and although that comes
with its share of arguments and headaches, it's also a total blast! And I can't imagine not doing it. We are partners in the true
sense and I really do love being my husband's right-hand gal, his master organizer and his biggest fan! Managing the Wildernest
stores not only gives me a chance to help create a fun and functional environment and experience for our employees and customers,
but it also gives me the flexibility to do other things I love, like taking trips with Steve to cool places, hanging out with our
dog, Harold, and getting involved with organizations like Big Brothers, Big Sisters and Hospice.
